about

I made music on the Game Boy, the Sega Genesis, and the NES. What was next? The Super NES. I found out that one could make Super NES music with OpenMPT's Impulse Tracker Module and then convert to SPC, which would then convert to Super NES ROMs. If you download this album from bandcamp, you will get access to SPC files and ROMs which will play back in any Super NES emulator, or, if you have a Super NES multi-cart, a Super NES itself!

Bonus Track was based on a silly idea I had which was using touch-tone landline telephone sounds for Tchaikovsky's "Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairies" from the Nutcracker Suite. This track did not meet my standards of quality, as there was noise, artifacting, and inappropriate dynamic tears (which some people call "earrape") so I made it a bonus track.

about

Iron Curtain Brooklyn, New York

I make chip music, and am based in Brooklyn, NY, USA. My mother, Dorothy Siegel, did the same back in 1978 (seen here: www.vintagecomputermusic.com ), making me a second generation chip musician. I play the Game Boy with LSDJ, as well as other retro game systems.
